Celebrating Hausa Culture Through Arts and Literature
The Hausa International Book and Arts Festival is a crisscross festival of arts and language by and for African creatives across Europe, West and East Africa with a touch of what the arts in Hausa ought to be.

Our Mission
The festival opens up discussions about the Hausa language through history, music and arts. We aim to preserve and promote Hausa cultural heritage while fostering connections between global Hausa-speaking communities.
HIBAF provides a platform for African creatives to showcase their work, engage in meaningful dialogue, and celebrate the richness of Hausa arts and literature.
